Spectrum & Communications

1. Overview

Radio-frequency spectrum is a finite shared resource. This page describes the policies OrbitExSpace Inc. ("OrbitExSpace", "we", "us") will apply to the use of radio frequencies and satellite communications in our future systems. Our current work does not transmit on regulated spectrum; the commitments here apply to future operations.

2. Radio Frequency Compliance

Any future use of radio frequencies — for telemetry, command, communications, or remote sensing — will be licensed by the FCC or the relevant national authority before use. We will operate only within our authorized bands, power levels, and emission masks, and we will coordinate with other users to prevent harmful interference.

3. Spectrum Management Policy

We will manage our spectrum use to minimize the amount of spectrum we occupy, to use the narrowest bandwidth and lowest power consistent with the mission, and to support spectrum sharing where feasible. We will participate in spectrum coordination through the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and relevant national processes for any system that requires international coordination.

4. Satellite Communications Compliance

Future satellite communications systems will comply with applicable ITU Radio Regulations and FCC or equivalent national licensing requirements, including filing of advance publication information, coordination requests, and notification as required. We will not operate a satellite communications link without the required authorizations.

5. Ground Station Compliance

Any ground station we operate will be licensed for its transmit and receive frequencies, sited in accordance with applicable land-use and safety rules, and coordinated with neighboring operators to avoid interference. We will maintain the station to its licensed parameters and will not transmit out of band.

6. Status

These commitments are forward-looking. We do not currently operate transmitters on regulated spectrum, and we have no pending license applications. We will update this page as our programs progress.
